humans are always wanting to prove themselves better than others.
perhaps only because they feel, and fear that they are not good enough, most of the times, for themselves.
because no one else has to right judge you other than yourself.

i may be a loser, i may be kiasu. i may be afraid of losing. fine. say whatever you want.
but let me put in this way.
if i were to prove myself, what do i get if i fail? (bigger possibility)
probably hatred, resentment, more insecurities, frustration, desperation
but if i dont win anything, i'd still be happy. i'd still have my friends and family. i'd still be loved.
the worst is......nothing more. because i already have everything i have, which is good enough for me.
what more could i need? what more could i ask for?

i mean yeah if you succeed you'd get fame and fortune and everyone's respect, but who says being the in 99% of the human population who are normal, average and simple isn't something good as well?

the world we live in nowadays gives people the impression that if we dont achieve something, we're nothing.
but then again, who says having achievements is something and having none is nothing?
you can also have many achievements and well, nothing else.
unless your achievement is achieving the balance in life but that's another topic which i shall further elaborate in another post.

humans come in different shapes and sizes, including their views.
i understand those of you who have been living your whole life trying to be number 1, i respect your determination, i respect your hardwork, i respect your aim and mission, i know its a dark winding pathway full of obstacles and sacrifices, but always remember not to lose yourself, because every sacrifice you make comes with a price.

sometimes a price where people lose respect and faith in you, for making distasteful sacrifices to get to where you want to be. and if you think it is all worth it in the end of the day, that's when you lose yourself.

well whatever and however, at the end of the day, i live by my own motto.

heartbreak welfare

sometimes i wonder, do heartbreaks happen in purpose to make us a stronger person?

heartbreak is part and parcel of life. we need to make mistakes in order to learn from them. and since everything has its first, there's no one to blame. but in this kind of case, remember, ONCE is enough!

if there's a 2nd time, means we're dumb enough and this time we only have ourselves to blame.

or maybe we're just living in denial, we wanna believe that fairytales have happy endings. well sadly, only happens in fairytales, not real life.

TIME FOR REALITY CHECK :D

somehow i feel glad that i was heartbroken for a few times(yes yes i am naive) because i was never really WITH them. its just i felt sad that things didnt work out, no matter how much i wished they would. eventho the heartbreak gets worse each time, it also takes us less time to get over it. so i get stronger and braver. i was never in love with anyone, i just loved the idea of it. but at that moment, i could not differentiate.

the words i love you is often overused, but rarely sincere. i dont say it often, knowing that it means alot and cant be said simply. because these words are sacred. special.

the last person i remember saying it to(to a guy excluding friends) is whatshisname. not that i loved him, but we were together, so i felt like i had to. so dont do things just because you feel like you have to. you'd end up hurting and losing yourself.

things happen for a reason. i cant say they're all good, but they sometimes remind you of why you should never let yourself be in the risky position to go through another heartbreak ever again. because it hurts, real bad.

but then again, life's a risk. life's unplanned. so whatever it is, know that you're strong enough to stand back up on your feet. or friends and family to pull you up, but only if you allow them to.

i'd say go for it, because the worst is just a NO. which really is the worst feeling ever, trust me! but somehow we'll get used to it.

my advice is, GO FOR IT! but always know that at the end of the day, you'll be able to get back up on your feet, let go and move on. of course with a little bit of holding on at first since it takes time.

mistakes lead to regrets. which can only be forgotten with forgiveness. and the only person we need to forgive is ourselves.

so what if things dont work out? life's too short to sit and sulk.

at the end of the day, you leave this world with only memories :)

so make sure sweet > bitter

my love inspiration :)

hold on and listen to every word very carefully.

'Speak now or forever hold your peace,' the words said by preachers at the end of wedding ceremonies all over the world, right before the vows. It's a last chance for protest, a moment that makes everyone's heart race, and a moment I've always been strangely fascinated by. So many fantasize about bursting into a church, saying what they'd kept inside for years like in the movies. In real life, it rarely happens.


Real life is a funny thing, you know. In real life, saying the right thing at the right moment is beyond crucial. So crucial, in fact, that most of us start to hesitate, for fear of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. But lately what I've begun to fear more than that is letting the moment pass without saying anything.


I think most of us fear reaching the end of our life, and looking back regretting the moments we didn't speak up. When we didn't saying 'I love you.' When we should've said 'I'm sorry.' We didn't stand up for ourselves or someone who needed help.


These songs are made up of words I didn't say when the moment was right in front of me. These songs are open letters. Each is written with a specific person in mind, telling them what i meant to tell them in person. To the beautiful boy whose heart I broke in December. To my first love who I never thought would be my first heartbreak. To my band. To a mean man I used to be afraid of. To someone who made my world very dark for a while. To a girl who stole something of mine. To someone I forgive for what he said in front of the whole world.


Words can break someone into a million pieces, but they can also put them back together. I hope you use yours for good, because the only words you'll regret more than the ones left unsaid are the ones you use to intentionally hurt someone.


What you say might be too much for some people. Maybe it will come out all wrong and you'll stutter and you'll walk around embarrassed, wincing as you play it all back in your head. But I think the words you stop yourself from saying are the ones that will haunt you the longest.

So say it to them. Or say it to yourself in the mirror. Say it in a letter you'll never send or in a book millions might read someday. I think you deserve to look back on your life without a chorus of resounding voices saying 'I could've, but it's too late now.'


There is a time for silence. There is a time waiting your turn. But if you know how you feel, and you so clearly know what you need to say, you'll know it.

its been more than a month that i last updated

some people say blogging is about what you do everyday, your daily life

others say its about expressing your feelings, telling people what you think

anywayyy my point is it's been a while since i blogged and i really dont know why either

perhaps i dont really want people to know what i've been thinking/feeling so yeah

today i wanna talk about my inspiration. i hope someday i can be someone's inspiration too. but for now, mine are angelina jolie and taylor swift(celebrities)

non celebrities are my parents, grandparents, brother and sometimes my maid LOL but it's personal so i shall not talk about em

angelina jolie. shes just awesome. despite the fact that brad pitt and jennifer anniston separated cuz of her(many ppl hate her for that but i dont see the point), but hey! love is never wrong. at least they're living the life now.

she has many kids, a career. a loving caring(and lets not forget drop dead gorgeous) husband, FAMILY, AND she serves humanity!!! have you seen how much humanitarian work she has done for mankind?!

at the same time she has to juggle her family and career.

and she's doing it well.

of course she has had her own share of past too, but let's face it, WHO DOESN'T?

what matters is things that she's doing right NOW.

and i really respect her for that.

SHE'S ONLY 36 BTW!

omg i just googled for her age and found out that she kissed her brother before, ON THE LIPS! there are pictures everywhere. i seriously hope its not a french kiss ewww....that is just so SICK!

how bad can my memory get, really?

first i left my books at examination hall AFTER the exams over, great.

then rmbr my moral assignment a WEEK AFTER dateline.

then this umbrella.

i was quite convinced i left it there. well initially i didnt even rmbr where/when i lost it!

so i went back on monday around 4pm, CLOSED by 3pm. FINE. guard said open 8 till 5.

weirdest thing is i DREAMT about it right before i woke up seriously. in my dreams i was at the EXACT place asking for it and they returned it to me!

there was once i lost my phone in national library and someone returned it to the receptionist and i got it back!

it was kinda hard to convince her(took me a while) but she finally agreed!

because we had a bet if she calls sabrina in a day then she has do it for me.

American Idol Season 10 Review

THIS SEASON IS BY FAR MY FAVOURITEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

so damn nice la ive been watching EVERY episode since they started auditioning.

these ppl are so GOOD!!!

some are even better than past idols LOL

ITS TRUE LA!!!

anyways i realised i've never talked about AI'10 here before so HERE I AM!

i am SO IN LOVE with some of them since the beginning seriously

SO HERE ARE MY FAVOURITES!!!!! (too many good ones this year so i have many favs!)


1. Scotty Mccreery

i fell in love with this cutie AND his voice the day he went for audition!!! he's a country singer and his deep voice is to die for!!!!!!! im definitely his number 1 fan since day 1!!! i think most typical american teenage girls are ALL OVER HIM just because hes cute duhh(i love his voice too okay)!!!! you'll get what i mean if you've been watching american idol this season. the cheers he gets whenever his name is mentioned! OH MY! he can so be the male version of CARRIE UNDERWOOD!!! i really appreciate country music fyi :D one thing, he really should show us more vocal range though! LOVE U SCOTTY :D damn hes 17, younger than me but wtv! :P

2. Thia Megia

SHE'S ONLY 15 THIS YEAR!!!!!! wth wth wth. her voice is JUST SO GOOD for her age, EVEN FOR ANYONE'S AGE!!! trust me she's sososo good you'd go thinking how old is she again? hahaha she reminds me of charice probably because shes from philipines too and omg shes just SO SWEET!!! whenever she smiles a part of me just melts inside. her voice is just unbelievable. i've been supporting her since day 1 as well! GO THIA!!! ASIAN FTW :D

3. Haley Reinhart

HER VOICE IS GOOD AND DISTINCT!!!! i dunno why was she even in the bottom 3 for 2 weeks!!! SHE CAN BE TOP 3 OKAY! hahahaha i supported her since hollywood week, her amazing voice caught my attention! dont rmbr seeing her in audition but yeah, she's just damn good and unique! so love her rough voice and wide vocal range. SO SO GOOD! like alicia keys ;)

4. James Durbin

i only noticed this punk dude since hollywood week. well he was quite a bad ass back then and i didnt fancy him much, UNTIL I HEARD HIS VOICE OMG! he seriously look AND sound like adam lambert seriously!!!!! they both rock the high voice so damn good! if he wins this year it'll prove that adam lambert lost to ughh kris allen just because hes gay! well its indirectly proven anyways so yeah. NO WORRIES THO our hottie here isn't gay HE'S ALREADY  A DADDY :D GO JAMES! we know you're as good as adam but also unique in your own way! ;) prove those losers wrong!

I WANT HIM TOO! he has this rough distinct voice like david cook and i'd always fall for that! its like my week point okay hahaha. ROCK ON PAUL!

she's ONLY 16!!!!!! whats with all these young but amazing contestants!!! SO JEALOUS!!! hahahha her voice is just SO POWERFUL I SWEAR!!!!! so nice to hear and i love that she smiles all the time! super cuteeee. her voice always makes me wanna dance and go huga huga :D GO LAUREN!!!


7. Pia Toscano
shes like celine dion + whitney + mariah and all the divas! i love her voice since the day she sang ALL BY MYSELF omg goosebumps!!! her vocals is just CRAZYYYYYY!!! she'd sell albums but american idol, still not so sure! cuz it aint all about your voice but also your vide, personality, confidence and connection with audience. havent seen her dancing around much to entertain but yeah looking forward to that! im sure she'll do better. we'll see ;)
